The technology

The process of stock taking was taking four staff a whole day to complete for each store. In order to make this more efficient, the company deployed V38-r08 enterprise digital assistants to each of their stores. These were pre-loaded with software linking to the main product database, and included a barcode scanner. These enterprise digital assistants allowed staff to quickly complete the stock taking process in half a day, using the barcode scanner to record each item.
