The shop assistants at a trendy high-street retailer.

The technology

The retailer deployed V212 wireless tablet clients to all its in-store staff nationwide, providing them with the facility to quickly access a product database. This database was tailored toward the personal shopping needs of customers, and displayed potential accessories and outfits for a wide range of fashion items. When helping customers who are browsing the shop, the staff used the tablet to make suggestions to the customer and the wireless capability of the tablet allowed each staff member to wander freely within the shop area.
