The technology

As motorist numbers increase, waiting time to see an adviser was typically in the region of 40 minutes per customer during busy month-end periods. To improve this service level, digital signage solutions using ND4210w screens were deployed to customer centres nationwide. Combined with a ticketing system, the screens displayed the current ticket numbers being served and the average waiting time. Informational content was pushed to the screens, highlighting key safety and legal obligations of customers, and informing them of on-line services which could meet their most common needs.
